The Labyrinth

The Labyrinth music festival has been getting major props from techno heads over the past few years as one of the best electronic music events, anywhere. Up until this year the party had always been held in Gunma prefecture, however the organizers decided to change the location in 2009. The three day event took place last month in Naeba, Niigata prefecture, the same site of the famed Fuji Rock Festival. Word on the street in Tokyo right now is that Labyrinth keeps getting better and better each year and is an absolute can't miss event. Some of the phrases I've heard include "life changing" and "best party I've ever been to". I have yet to experience it myself but that will change in 2010. It's been decided.

Here are a few short clips from this year's festival which took place September 20-22. Keep in mind that in no way do these low quality youtube videos do the music nor the atmosphere at the party any kind of justice. That being said, they will have to do for the time being. Enjoy.
