I went to Fukushima prefecture last weekend to play in a couple of basketball games, we stopped at the Iwaki fish market on the way home for some fresh shellfish.

Crabs- 5,500 yen ($55) a piece



That whole tuna in the middle is 5,000 yen ($50)

Scallop, turban sea snails and sea urchin baked in a clam shell


Jumbo oysters- 200 yen each

Villalobos Documentary Film

In the club at 6:00am, a thousand crazed Japanese techno heads dancing like there's no tomorrow. Simply put, a Ricardo Villalobos set is something that can't be explained with words, it must be experienced. Villalobos, a documentary about the man, the myth, the legend, will have its world premier at the 66th Venice International Film Festival, September 8th, 2009. This movie is a must see for me.

Japanese High School Girl interviews Ron from Harry Potter

A Japanese TV show Sanma no Karakuri TV had a contest where 10,000 Harry Potter fans competed for a chance to fly to the UK, visit the set of the movies, and interview Ron and Harry. The winner was a high school girl named Kana Matsuda. This is her interview with Rupert Grint who plays Ron Weasley. Matsuda is incredible!
