Mihara Yasuhiro
Tokyo based designer Mihara Yasuhiro has been working with Puma for years now, and this season he releases his own collection for fall/winter 2008. Highlighting the lineup has got to be these shoes, which look like your typical Converse Chuck Taylor's but with horse hair covering the heel. Upon closer examination you can see that it looks like he constructed two different shoes and then just attached them together in the middle. Even the sole is different from the front and back. The collection is available at Atelier New York.

fyi - 'wool pants with drop detail' is also known as a skirt ;)
and i love that sneaker guy! i have a few pair - now that i'm a mom i really can't rock the blahniks on the playground so yasuhiros are the mom's new best friend.
